Effective January 1, 2022
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of carterindustries.org (the "Site") and your engagement with Carter Industries LLC ("Carter Industries," "we," "us," or "our") for advisory services. By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
Carter Industries provides advisory services including trust structuring and asset protection advisory, business funding strategy, business consulting, venture development, and strategic credit and business foundation advisory, which includes personal credit repair and dispute services and access to our personal funders network. The specific scope of any engagement is set out separately with each client.
If you engage Carter Industries for credit repair or credit dispute services, that engagement is subject to additional disclosures and consumer protections required under applicable federal and state law, including the Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.) and comparable state credit services statutes. Those disclosures, including your right to cancel and applicable timing of fees, are provided in your separate written services agreement and control over any conflicting statement on this Site.
Not Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice
Carter Industries is not a licensed law firm, securities dealer, or registered investment advisor. Nothing on the Site or provided during an advisory engagement constitutes legal, tax, or investment advice. You should consult your own attorney, CPA, or licensed financial professional before acting on any information we provide.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement to use the Site to request services or engage with Carter Industries.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current information when you contact us or engage our services, and to promptly update us if that information changes.
Fees
Fees for advisory engagements are set out in your individual services agreement. No fees described on the Site are binding until confirmed in writing for your specific engagement.
Funding Partner Referrals
Where we introduce you to a funding partner from our personal funders network, Carter Industries acts only as a connector. We do not guarantee approval, terms, or outcomes from any third-party funder, and any agreement you enter with a funding partner is solely between you and that party.
Intellectual Property
The Site's content, design, and branding are owned by Carter Industries LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party websites, including our venture portfolio and social profiles. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carter Industries is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, including any outcome related to credit repair, funding introductions, or trust or entity structures that you ultimately implement through your own attorney or CPA.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless a mandatory consumer protection statute in your state of residence requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
